My studio consists of children and adults of all ages.  I welcome students who are starting from scratch, people who are already established pianists, and everyone in between.

My teaching is based upon the fundamentals of classical music.  Each lesson revolves around the following curriculum:

Music Theory
Scales, chords, cadences, arpeggios, octaves, and trills
Technical exercises and Etudes
Sight reading/sight singing
Piano proficiency skills, such as ear training, keyboard harmony, and music history, etc.
Improvisation
The establishment and maintenance of a thorough and well balanced musical repertoire, including solo pieces, concerti, chamber music, piano duet/duo pieces, and original music.
Baroque music is learned on the harpsichord, as well as the piano.

There is one private lesson per week and four recitals per year.

Lessons are given in my home, which is in Cordova, near the intersection of Macon and Houston Levee.
